GENERAL PRIZE PROMOTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
BIRRA MORETTI Digital Hub: Birra Moretti & Pasta Evangelists Prize Summer 2023
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by entering this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.
The personal data provided by entrants will only be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the promotion and at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.heineken.co.uk/legal-hub/heineken-brands-privacy-policy). From time to time, the Promoter may share entrants’ personal data with their agents/representatives to assist with administering the promotion and contacting entrants (as necessary) and/or fulfilling the prize(s).
1. Only open to residents in the UK (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man) aged 18 or over, excluding employees of any company in the Heineken group, employees of Pasta Evangelists and any person whom, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, should be excluded due to their involvement or connection with this promotion.
2. No purchase necessary. To take part in the promotion, go to www.birramoretti.com/gb/en/pasta-evangelists and input your first name, last name and email address. All valid entries will be entered into the prize draw. Entry is limited to one per person per day. Your standard network rates apply.
3. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through agents/third parties, bulk entries or automated entries are invalid. No multiple entries from a single IP address in excess of the limitations set out in Term 2 above will be valid. No entries submitted via any other means will be accepted. The promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry route. Any mechanical reproduction or automated entries is prohibited, and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification.
The promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible or delayed entries, such entries will be void. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt and promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non receipt or the late receipt of message due to network failure or for any associated costs to entrants.
4. Enter between 16:00 05/06/2023 until 16:00 25/07/2023.
5. There are 5 prizes of Birra Moretti and Pasta Evangelists Pasta Academy vouchers. Each prize is made up of x2 vouchers for the Pasta Evangelists Pasta Academy. Winners can choose 1 of the below sessions:
• Saturday August 12 2023, Early Evening (17:00 - 19:00)
• Saturday August 19 2023, Afternoon (13:30 - 15:30)
Pasta Academy is at The Pasta Academy, 62-63 Long Lane, EC1A 9EJ
No entrant may win more than 1 prize.
6. The winners will be the first 5 entries drawn at random from all qualifying entries by an independent judge on or before 01/08/2023. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Judge’s decision is final. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The winners will be notified on or before 04/08/2023. The winners will be notified via email to the email address with which the entry was made. If winners cannot be contacted or do not reply within 7 days to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw and select new winners at random from all valid entries (and so on until winner can be contacted who will take up the prizes).
8. Once a winner has been contacted above to accept the prize, the winners will have a further 4 days, starting on the day they accept their prize to provide their full name, telephone number and date of birth to fulfil their prize. The winners will be asked to choose their preferred Pasta Evangelist Academy voucher from the 2 date options.
9. The prize will be dispatched to winners within 28 days of receiving address details as set out in Term 8 above. Prizes will be dispatched by registered post and a signature may be required. Prizes returned undelivered are assumed unwanted and an alternative winner will be drawn using the same methodology as state above. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to receive the prize.
Pasta Evangelist Academy voucher prizes will be sent separately via email to the email address with which the entry was made within 7 days of prize confirmation by the winner. Voucher terms apply. NO TRAVEL, SUBSISTENCE, COSTS OF A PERSONAL NATURE OR ACCOMMODATION IS INCLUDED. THESE COSTS MUST BE BORNE BY WINNER AND THEIR GUEST.
10. Winners’ details (first names and county only) will be available for 3 months from 01/08/2023 by sending a Stamped Addressed Envelope to BIRRA MORETTI PASTA MASTERCLASS WINNER, Mesh Marketing, 16 Laystall St, London, EC1R 4PF. By entering, the winner consents to such information being disclosed upon request.
11. There is no cash or other alternative to these prizes in whole or in part. Prizes are not transferable or refundable. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the prize if it is transferred.
12. The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
14. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond its control.
15. All conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law and the promoter shall be under no liability whatsoever or however in connection with any loss, damage or injury suffered as a direct result of the provision of the prize.
16. The Promoter cannot guarantee that attendance at the Pasta Academy will be free from disruptions, failings or cancellations. The Promoter is not liable for such disruptions, failings or cancellations unless they are caused by our negligence. Any requests for refunds or compensation arising from them should be sent to Pasta Evangelists. We can provide you with their details on request.
17. All taxes (including without limitation national & local taxes) in connection with any prize & the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
18. These rules and any dispute or difference arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The Promoter and each entrant irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these rules or the legal relationships established by this agreement.
